And the best part about this place is the difference in people. Felt like home! Very easy to meet people there, amazing garden, short walk to the beach and supermarket...I can only recommend going there Lost boyz is the perfect hostal for who wants to spend cool holidays surfing, doing yoga, chilling, staying quiet or wanting to chat with the amazing staff and other guests, meeting new friends, listening great music, enjoying "family dinner" or prepare your own food, sleep in a tent, private rooms or dorms.
I'd definitely recommend Lost Boyz as part of Pura Vida experience !A perfect hostel with great people. Unlike many other hostels, Lost Boyz is set back from the main road, so you’re largely spared.
The one thing that Santa Teresa could generally improve upon is its unpaved main road, where a daily parade of bikes, trucks & quads kicks up large amounts of dust.
Everyone is laid back but still makes an effort to keep the hostel nice and clean and to make all the guests happy. Lost Boyz is a true labour of love from an international gang who settled in Santa Teresa and have fostered a community of like-minded souls.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. I've been a huge fan of the Lost Boyz since Legal Drug Money originally dropped, and this album is very important to me. No surface noise, just a carefully crafted piece of vinyl goodness.
They provide a huge healthy breakfast in the morning, which is such a huge plus! And you have a great view on a beautiful wide garden, where Congo monkeys pass in the morning, iguanas and squirrels walk around. Lost Boyz is 10/10 I loved my stay here and will definitely be back. We came back to this hostel twice during our trip, stayed for almost two weeks in total. The staff is invested, caring and create an atmosphere that is both homie and hospitable.
The vinyl is beautiful, the highs are high and the lows are LOW. Apparently, so is the chef... Stay freeesh!The tents! Nice atmosphere, big common spaces to chill out, clean and good kitchen. One of the owner, Dennis, cooks amazing family dinners for the guests! They've installed some things that clean things that makes the water clean... And then all of this freshness goes back to their little ecosystem... What I'm trying to say is: They are actually trying to make a positive impact on the environment. Own or manage this property? Thoughts is the first word that pops into my head when I think of Lost Boyz.
