If you have a stressful job like me where you can't relax, read the HP books. The book arrived next day good packaged (as amazon usually do). The new characters are fantastic as we see the introduction of Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Professor Trelawney. They were married 69 years and he was grieving. It has the most unpredictable climax ever. My son loves the Harry Potter books and it’s hard to deny how very clever everything knits together in terms of plot. The movies are indeed amazing, but the books - they are not just paper with ink on them - they speak to you, have a life of their own. I got this series for my father after my mother passed away.

Even though I have seen all the films and enjoyed them I have to say that the books are better than the films (and that takes some doing). It is very difficult to put her series of Potter books down and this one is no exception. This book bring love and betrayal to the story.

From the very first time I read it as a 7 year old (when the book first came out in 1999) I loved the change of pace from the other books in the series - for once, Lord Voldemort is not the main antagonist, and instead it's Sirius Black - or at least so we think! Everyone knows a bit about Harry Potter so I will focus here not on the contents of the book but on the quality of this book as a product.A much darker story but a fabulous read with a little something for everyone

The story is hands down the best according to me. But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss....
