Service was friendly but hectic. We still had dirty plates on our table just before 2pm which only got taken away when we complained and were yet to order desserts.
Had we been in a hurry it would have been different. The bridal party have actually asked us to turn down the heating. We had a great, tasty lunch. We do hope you find somewhere warm, maybe come and see us and experience not only our toasty rooms but our warm and friendly staff. Once back on our coach everyone agreed that she had made the visit extraAmazing to see the stunning improvement in the gardens since our last visit and really friendly staff who were fantastic with our school group made the trip really special. We have had plenty of really good meals here before so were disappointed especially as we were there for a birthday! I had to pop out of the restaurant to ask for service but it was friendly. Scholars Training Restaurant (263) 3.7 mi $ British. We also stayed in the shepherds hut.I took a coach group into Samlesbury Hall for a guided tour,our guide was Joanne Halliwell and she made our visit the best stop our 6 day tour of Lancashire. But your lack of any detail about us as a venue makes us rather suspicious. We were next to a radiator but the room was on the chilly side.Excellent Sunday lunch. Our team are very dedicated and love all of our visitors ! Restaurant was busy. At no point did anyone ask if our food was ok, which is fact was below the usual standards! Service is good just a little bit disorganised but that wouldn't put me off going again. All the Staff are lovely and helpful.
When giving menu order was given choice of brown or white baguette and when it came was on white.when queried was told it only comes on white! Thankyou very muchFirst time they had been open since lockdown so things could have been odd, but the whole team were fantastic and very welcoming. Staff just seem inexperienced and with a little training to look around the restaurant when they’re busy n there and not to just “rush for the doorway” this place could be perfect.
