Michael does a good job being an old "A hole", and you really can't NOT like Diane because regardless of her playing quite a bit of her own self in many parts, I don't care because she's a likeable lady and she's made a $$gazillion$$$ doing her thing and good for her!!

Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton turned up the quality of this genre with their always fantastic acting. Ignoring the sensitive plot point of Allen dating a much younger woman, the film stands the test of time.

Michael and Diane Keaton are not actually related, and oddly enough neither of them was born a Keaton. It had gone on record as saying that Mr Allen was so dissatisfied with the film, he offered to make another one for nothing if the film was not released. A little predictable at times, but I didn't care..the chemistry between DK & MD was spot-on (kinda like Bogey & Bacall; Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks; or Diana Ross & Billy Dee Williams!) I would not have loved the film as much if it had been filmed in color. But, in todays climate the relationship that Allen's character has with Mariel Hemingway (who is suppose to be underage) does feel off putting if not creepy. The cast is top notch exercising splendid art of believable acting on every frame of the movie.
