She is definitely one of the most reasonable heroines in the reverse harem community. [the previous potential next queen of the underworld who I guess died but I forget how Poppy believes that there is nothing special about herself. It's a book of 85 pages and I wanted to DNF it so bad, but since it was so short I figured I'd just finish it.Since she found a magical necklace in a thrift store, you could say Poppy's life has been turned upside down.

That she is working her way through life, trying to make ends meet and enjoy what she can of it. The world building could have been more solid as there feels like many wobbly parts in the foundation, and there are loose threads. All in all, I am going to read the next book and I will continue the series if Poppy straightens up her personality a bit.

The idea of this book is a solid 5 stars but, to me, it just didn't reach it's full potential. I loved this twist on the queen of hell!!
