I recently happen to come across this film in Blockbuster. A look at the life of 19th century Yorkshire landowner Anne Lister (1791-1840), who lived openly as a lesbian and kept diaries chronicling the details of her daily life. My only complaint is that there are a few audio moments that are hard to grasp. Centers around a three-way romantic relationship involving a loving suburban married couple and another woman.
