Gripes aside, I do think Big River Man is an exemplary film, and possibly a top contender for the documentary of the year.

. But it also covers its chosen topic (corn, and its main uses as beef cattle feed and source of high fructose corn syrup) in more depth than the other film, so the ideal would be to see both.
