The roadside recovery business has had a tough summer, with the acrimonious departure of executive chairman Bob Mackenzie in early August and a spike in costly breakdown call-outs. Staff simply whip it away before it even gets to him. Sometimes we feel our case is so important that we think it deserves to go right to the top, but in many cases (not all, but most) there is process in place within the companies customer relations correspondence process to handle the matter effectively.I am not totally against going to the top, only that I think unless your case is *truly* extraordinary or exceptional (a high bar to cross in and of itself) then it best to give them a chance to resolve it within the current process, and then, IF it's not fixed or addressed, THEN I'd be a fan of going outside the normal channels.I agree with Gobpi, follow their processes, they are there for a reason and the most efficient way to contract them.

It will probably be sent down the line anyway, but if the USPS delivers it, It will be delivered and not lost in transmission.Emails often don't get read.

As hands on as some maybe, typically even if it gets to the CEO, it will be passed back down to management that deal with this.Might I suggest Snail Mail as opposed to E-mail, sent to His name at the corporate offices.

You could not guess his email address that he looks at personally.Even if you did hit very very lucky and find his email address, which is very very unlikely, It would be rare that any CEO did anything more than forward it. He is not an idiot, he knows things go wrong sometimes, he knows they also can go repeatedly wrong, he does not want to nor should he, deal with individual complaints.

Over the last couple of months, I have missed 5 connecting flights, and had to spend 4 nights at hotels in cities that have not been my destination, because of issues with AA flights.I wanted to send an email to Doug Parker, CEO, and was wondering if anyone knew how to get his email. I don't know what AA's performance has been like recently however they and US haven't yet merged customer facing operations so I can't see that this is down to merger issues.

It's easily mishandled as well.As for the CEO, there will be an anomaly in his email address, the email address he looks at personally.

But the odds are that's not board level getting it, they are too big.So, I know you are annoyed, but simply follow the correct process they recommend, and do it politely and succinctly. Fortunately for Simon Breakwell, today confirmed as the AA’s new permanent CEO, the drop probably wasn’t because investors took exception to him.

If something is bad enough it's escalated to this level internally it would be something very severe indeed and even then he would simply get a summary and update on what happened and how they are managing it.
