In the first season there is a focus on UFO's, conspiracies and government cover-up. Thirteen years after the original series run, the next chapter of THE X-FILES is a six-episode event series. Having watched most episodes from the start I bought this season as I wasn't sure if had seen all episodes. As the show was originally recorded on film, the Blu-ray transfer is excellent (whereas the earlier VHS and DVD releases had to be reduced in quality).
