I have to say Shanghai Bay remains to be lead by its authenticity, tastiness, consistency, value for money in their dishes and friendliness of staff. All info on Shanghai Bay in Southampton - Call to book a table. Standard UK Chinese fare plus other lesser known dishes. They really do look after their customers. They do all chinese food not just dim sum at a reasonable price. Staff is helpful and professional, while the restaurant is airy and clean.We had eaten dim sum at Shanghai Bay on a number of occasions. Nice friendly staff. We specialise in authentic Cantonese cuisine and serve Dim Sum during the day till 5:00pm. The food is always fresh and tasty.
Dim Sum is always fresh, service friendly. We are becoming one of the most popular Chinese restaurants in Southampton and accept all types of bookings from business lunches to family celebrations and also provide a buffet delivery service to your home, venue or workplace. There is another restaurant close to us who named them selves similar to our restaurant...Dim Sum here is fresh. Shanghai Bay is listed as Takeaway/sandwich shop. There is ample seating and after a short wait we were quickly seated. We are Shanghai Bay and located on the first floor in Southampton precinct.
Good for family gathering.Amazing, absolutely love this Chinese. They probably know that once you see the amazing menu you will want to sample the food. Search for local Fast Food Restaurants near you on Yell. Attentive service without the hovering.Going here mostly in weekends, really enjoy everything and the food is close to the real Chinese cuisine, not very Westernised which it's great. We then moved to our new premises at 17a Above Bar Street, Southampton which is located in the precinct and opened in August 2016.
