The Magnatar on the other hand if I remember right was described as being shaped similar to the Vertebrae of a giant whale, So I imagine a short cylinder that widens out at both ends with 2 or 3 stubby fins that widen out as they get closer to the center of the ship, The Asari Capital ships from Mass effect are what my mind kept imagining

The Magnetar ships are described as resembling a “vertebra of a giant”, both in color (white) and shape (literally the shape of a vertebrae and also with very organic-looking curves). If you build that with a realistic feel, I'd buy a 3D printer just to make a model to have on my desk.

The Tempest utilized numerous technologies acquired from the long-dead protomolecule creators, including a powerful magnetic beam cannon and a self-repairing hull. Ships are expensive in the Expanse Universe and more often than not, salvaged or retrofitted than bought outright.
