Platte Landing and English Landing Park Loop is a 4.6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Kansas City, Missouri that features a river and is good for all skill levels. Good photo ops too. Don’t know if the grass will recover as it is covered in mud.So close to the Missouri River, you can feel it's strength, but don't go after it rains.Nice place to take the grandkids. We had a good walk along the many paths and enjoyed the vista of the river flowing by. The first phase of the new 140 acre park has been completed. The park itself is beautiful, as is the view of nearby Park University up the hill. 2 dog parks. Nice wide open course. If your near Parkville or want to schedule...We drove along the park and could see many picnic tables and things for kids to play on, and found it interesting to see the results of flooding which is expected to be cleared soon.
