might have for me um we've been getting some questions I get to those in a second but just wanna say how excited I am about this tour coming up and and just the line up of amazing talent that we have sharing the stage with us on the beautiful freak show tour But can't wait to get to your town in the guys have been practicing we've been rehearsing we got this great production ready to roll into your city or your town and yeah I just can't wait um I guess I get to some of the questions that you guys have been asking a Allan here from marshal dillon says hey dean what is your method for writing songs are you a lyrics first music melody first kinda guy love the new album can't wait to see you and the bro do again and so thanks Marshall Anybody that doesn't over the rodeo is it's my band and fortunately they call themselves the pro do told them please don't call yourself bro you guys so land like no we love it and even come up to the champs before we go on stage they have the chance bro do Chan is terrible but Yeah they call themselves the rodeo that's my band and just a great group of guys they love to play for you as you can tell I've ever seen them live on stage the guys absolutely love music so excited to bring them to town also but yeah Marshall I guess my method for a Songs is I've got a bunch of weird ways I have instruments around the House like a ukulele guitar banjo piano and depending what mood I'm in I just walk by and pick up in just start playing something I know three cords and Really but uh three courses all you need three courts and a minor would be great but you can do is record and uh I just pick it up around with his guitar banjo or ukulele and just trying come up with some kind of feel if you wanna feel the music like The sad songs to be happy song and once you get back down and I just start humming you see a humming tune a work around the melody just just that way and I kinda come up with the melody first and then if that melody is like a nostalgic melody Put lyrics to the nostalgic if it's kinda just a Super happy song that I just think about the Beach or you know something visual that helps me right I find that being visual is a big deal if you can see it in your mind close your eyes and see and you can pay that picture the It's a great place to start when writing a song yeah um Christian Lee has a question here what was the inspiration behind blueberry sky uh blueberry sky is the song Reminds me a lot of home reminds me of you know first love and and just you know those early summers when you're just trying to figure out life and you're kinda coming into your own your final who you are as a person um you know mid to late teens you fall in love for the first time And and summer which I love I'm a huge fan of summer I guess um I might as well just saying that song for you uh the best it's called sky it's on beautiful freak show And trying rendered here for you guys in the penalty box I've never done this before played in the penalty box with the microphone on the boards pretty sweet Nothing says summer working at petes garage Nazi grandma's pretty girl steps off If you need or your grandma's happens once in a while Allan it's just saw brad paisley one time in nashville and he just completely ditch the song to I think once you go off the rails it's just really hard to get back on them it's like a train goes off the track so you gotta bring back on it and stuff but um Good to another question here guys susie crew back cry back hi did when you rode beautiful freak show were you concerned about the reception it received being it's a bit different and Yeah for sure suzy like the song beautiful three shows I don't know it is quite different and that there's are a wrap is a rapper in the song um I wrote the song about love and just about how love can actually like bridge cultures As social economic uh gaps and just how love conquers all kind of thing I know it's kinda idealistic but it was what I was trying to portray in the song I was thinking okay we got a country boy was the opposite of the country both country music and a certain thinking Urban girl city girl hip hop rap would be of those officers you could get from the country and so that's why chevy price makes an appearance in the song and just to show the contrast and the show the two different worlds colliding In this free show in this and this couple that you wouldn't expect to be in love they're in love and uh it's a beautiful thing and so came up with this song and why don't we need the tour after because I know it sounds fun it's a show it's a Freak show and so we're like a traveling freak show yeah it's gonna be fun we can't wait to bring this to you guys and uh yeah I guess so get to another question So I got one here from nikki meyer and she says who did you look up to musically when you started singing and was their defining moment and started your career And she says thank you for inspiring me with music and so you're welcome nikki it's really cool to hear things like that like when you're my fans say that my music means something to you it's actually really cool and it's what we To write music for like I don't write it just for myself like I write music to share and I just feel like if you're not sharing with people and making memories with people that it's just not being used to the fullest but it was meant for music and uh but yeah who inspired me outside Like when I was young the Beach boys listen to a lot of Beach boys um if you guys are familiar with an H a track my dad had an eight track in the garage and he had endless summer by the Beach boys play on a loop uh a track is what proceeded tapes if you don't know what Tape is tapes proceeded cd's if you don't know what a cd is proceeded streaming and itunes world right so uh but you definitely Beach boys probably do yo come also I thought he was really cool Um stop man this guy's really almost weird and to mean somebody who's not afraid to take chances and like wear tight jeans and play music different like almost like a bakersfield West Coast style is like this this cat is cool and so got into the yoakum who are My bridge in the country music's about 14 15 years old I got into country music before that was all rocket was aerosmith you know nbc and um metallica yeah stuff like that yeah one more question the um just getting a question here from karen that says love the music what inspires you most for this album and the meeting The meaning behind the title beautiful freak show um yeah I think the reason why we decided to call the album beautiful freak shows that it was a conglomerate of a bunch of different styles and not a reggae song in there I've got like a couple a bluegrass On some real country songs and we got like this edgy kinda other world song and beautiful freak show and because there were so many kind of a mashup of styles because of the influences I've had grown up uh we thought this is called the whole album beautiful freak show and then It is natural that sounds kinda cool for a tour is like what's that you know if we just call it the tour be kinda boring for you guys be like I want to go to that but when you have a beautiful freak show your College was that sounds kinda weird and so yeah we Is it just seem to be something that brought everything together and that's why we called beautiful freak show and we mean to wrap this up yeah and how about the winner for the tickets we do that yeah so the winner for the tickets guys No because you're involved in this thank you for being involve in this through winter is a winner for tickets to ever show you wanna go to whatever is closest to you but christine career um and christine uh says that my music is
